Hi everyone!

My company is holding a leadership meeting toward the end of the month and my SVP wants to use a particular behavioral/personality profile that designates participants as one of four colors. I've used several different behavioral or personality assessments, but I've never seen one that designates people as a color. Do you know what it's called and whom I can contact about it?

If you do I'd love to hear from you, best place to reach me is email: lrhodesgarmonsway@westaff.com

Thanks!

Lynette

I would recommend advising against using any such tool unless or until a clear goal for using such a tool is discussed and analyzed. The key purpose of things like colors, MBTI, and the rest is for an individual to better understand himself and how he relates to the rest of the world (in that others may not have the same personality preferences he does). Most importantly -- they are meant to be *voluntary*.

I agree with LoveLearning.

The last thing we should want is for the "blues" to say the "reds are..." and the "reds" say that the "blues are...", etc.

Employers should be more concerned with their employees behaviors.

If the employer has a problem with an employee's behavior, the employee's behavior should not be discussed in a group meeting.

When developing leaders we need an in depth look at motivation not just tickle the surface with 4 colors.
