I am involved in planning our annual corporate team building day. I'm looking for a competitive, team-building activity that is simple, fun yet competitive, and encourages participation of everyone in the table group. Each of the 20 table groups will have 10 members from all levels of our organization. The activity has a 30 minute total time allotment and we award prizes for the winning table group.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

You can make almost any activity competitive with large groups, simply by advising them that the best finished article will win a prize and getting the presenter to decide on the best. This allows you to broaden the potential activities.

It would be useful to choose the activity based on the audience you have. For instance, if you have a group of estate agents, you might ask them to review a collection of property brochures and guess the correct price of the properties based on their descriptions. The closest to all wins.

Or, for a group that work in the construction industry, ask them to build something using building blocks and the best structure that fits the remit provided wins.

These are just examples, but you can see how simple it can be to devise something that gets all involved and yet is simple to design and implement.
