VitalSmarts just published a new book, "Influencer", and will soon have a new training program. We've used their "Crucial Conversations" training and it's an excellent product and company. |

A consulting and training firm I do some work with has a program called "Exercising Influence" that might work for you. You can find them at www.spisolutions.com.

Nashville,
A few questions to try and provide the right solution: What/How are you trying to influence others on and why? Are you trying to influence change? Behaviors? Management styles? What is the main objective/outcome of what they want to accomplish with this task? If you are trying to influence others behaviors and/or make changes, you first must understand your own and others personality and values. This could easily lead into one of the 7 Habits of Stephen Covey “Seek First to Understand then to be Understood”. There is also a book by Dale Carnegie, “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. I have some other ideas regarding Training, so if you can explain a little more of what you are looking at, I can provide some more targeted suggestions. Mark Johnson |
