I am writing an article for the journal of "Global Competitiveness and Organizational Excellence" on getting employees more involved in training. I am looking for companies to showcase that 1) seek employee input concerning topics to be addressed in formal classroom or on-line training. 2)get employees involved in the actual design and delivery of the training.
Any help would be appreciated. |

Do you already have research to demonstrate that those activities should be showcased?

Hi, Yes, a lot of theory, of course, from the "systems" school mainly on employee empowerment. But, also, a company, ContiMortgage, where a committee of employees representing all fuctions met periodically to identify training needs, then design the training and deliver it if possible.

Unfortunately, ContiMortgage went under during the recent economic downturn...

Do you know of any companies that do any of those things -- identify needs, design, deliver?
