How can someone be a Motivational speaker?

Does he need to earn a lot of degrees during college or some other qualities that would suit him best as a motivational speaker?

There is no prerequisite degrees for motivational speakers. The only requirement is a compelling story that the audience will connect with that ends in a moral lesson and a call to action.

My suggestion to all aspiring speakers is to go to Toastmasters [http://reports.toastmasters.org/findaclub/] and locate a club near you, join, and hone the story and delivery with the local club.

Many local Toastmasters clubs run a speakers bureau and are more than happy to get a young speaker engagements once they are ready.
