I use paypal for larger accounts. Keep in mind that no matter who you use there will be a fee (usually a percentage). That's why I only use it for larger accounts.
The number of transactions and dollar amounts you will be accepting monthly will determine which path you go.
Paypal is a great option for low number (i.e. 4-5 transactions per month) but there are cheaper options out there if you will have a lot of, or high-dollar, transactions.

2checkout.com is very good for those with once in a blue moon e-comm transactions like me. It costs $50 for a one off lifetime fee, plus you pay them a commission on each transaction. Commission is about 8% but my volume is low, my unit price is low, so it's OK with me. See 2co.com
