I am looking for online sources for a BS degree in adult education, training & development, etc. There are plenty of BS degrees out there in K-12 education, but that is not what I am looking for. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Ron Ron Kiker, CPLP NPSC Diretor of Training Coastal International Security, Inc |

I am glad you clarified that you wanted a BS degree in adult ed; there is lots of BS in adult ed on the web.
All programs of which I am aware for distance learning are MS or MED or MAED programs - none are BS. Kinda strange in a way. We need more distance ed for BS degrees, IMHO. At any rate if you have a BS or BA, maybe it would not be too difficult to get a MAED from, say, University of Phoenix. If not, maybe a certificate program is a good idea. Just a thought. BTW, you are a CPLP, why do you want a BS in AED anyway? --john |

You may want to consider Capella University.

Check out the University of North Texas (www.unt.edu). UNT is a public Texas college located in Denton Texas. They have a BAS in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement. It is a pretty good degree. Also, it is all distance learning. You can go the corporate training, HR route or you can do a teaching certification with it. Hope this helps
