To create a training video form desktop recording, I found DemoCreator can be a really helpful tool. And you can add the audio and interactivity objects to your demos.

I've been working with Adobe Connect Pro for almost a year now and I would NOT recommend it under any circumstance. It is riddled with bugs that not only cause work to be lost, but have caused me to lose many hours of work. (Lost audio, inability for the audio to sync with video/slide presentations, poor video streaming quality, the list of failures is endless...)

Thanks for the posts here. I look forward to replacing my current nightmare with better software as soon as my budget allows.
