Greetings. How much are designers charging these days to create facilitator guides? In other words, if I have 2 2-day workshops that i do but want someone to create facilitator guides so that others can teach, how much will I pay?

If you already have the materials and teach the workshops yourself (i.e., know the subject matter, which exercises, discussions, etc. that you want), I suggest you create your own facilitator's guide. It's really not all that difficult, and that's the only way you will get exactly what you want. There are many excellent facilitator's guides on the market to use as a template. I have used the ASTD Sourcebooks as templates. See also the discussion thread, "Faciilitator Guide Template Update" -Learning Path Consultants.

I agree. I am interested in the market value though.

Market value of the guide or the market value of the work to develop the guide.

The cost is based on the size of the book. As suggested by KaliKo, the template, any pictures, etc. would have to be completed. How many pages is your guide? How much do you contribute to the content? How detailed is the guide? A guide for government (Navy or AF) is more detailed than many others.

You might consider the cost of hiring a tech writer to guide your calculations.

you don't need to go to anyone Just export your powerpoint with the notes pages to MS word and then give a border and cover page .Adjust the size of each image in this exported file by using the Format picture option in MS word .Add the header and footer .Version date, page numeber and the name of your company in the footer .Place the Tiltle of the sessin and course name in the header along with the logo of your company.Your Facilitaor guide is ready .Split the Guide according the the number of session and name it to prevent the file size from becoming to large .Convert into PDF for ease in printing .Create an common cover page
