Help. I work for a homebuilder and we need an exercise or activity to rally our sales staff. It would be an intro activity to a sales meeting. The end result of the activity would be to change their perception of what it currently is i.e. "difficult to sell homes" to this is a challenging, but not impossible to sell homes environment. We need to have a positive spin on the current market conditions. I have checked the Thiagi site with no luck. Any ideas?

Do you have a budget for a vendor? If so, I know several who would appreciate the business. Let me know if you'd like their information. (This is not self-promotion - I am not the vendor, nor am I associated with them.)

I use mystery boxes I buy at Chinese markets. People get frustrated trying to open them, but when they finally figure it out they are happy. They learn to perserve. They learn that solutions are usually there, just need a different way of thinking.

Your 1/2 glass analogy made me remember another example. Take a empty cup(s). Have them fill it up to the brim with paper. Then ask them if they can put anything more in it. They will try. After they have squished as much as possible, ask them if anything else can go in. They will say, "no." Then pour water nearly to the top of the cup. Ask, "Now can anything else go in?" Again they will likely say "no." Now take a sachet of sugar and put it in.

Those are my ideas. There are many others if you search the web or check out training books. Quite easy to find them.
