Well, there is ISO 10015. I know its international and not national, per se, but it might be of some use. I cannot afford to buy it and I don't know anyone using it.

Maybe standards are not necessary, but wouldn't they go a long way toward helping the many in the profession who need some guidance but can't seem to find it here - for one reason or another?
