In the midst of developing a new training program with the help of many Six Sigma tools and methodologies, we ran into the debate of whether or not it is possible to error proof training. My first reaction was no. If a teacher was able to errorproof his/her lesson, everyone would be getting a 4.0. However, some where, some how, someone has mastered the technique, the methods, the process to ensure all of his/her training is effective. So, can it be errorproofed?

Hi Kelbel:
As the phrase contained in a poem by Robert Burns says: The best laid plans of mice and men... IMHO the answer is NO! There are just too many variables that cannot be controlled. Cj |
