I am doing a research project on Best Practices in Diversity Training (master's in I/O Psych). I have been doing research in the Psych area, and I was wondering if anyone here in the Training field had ideas or experience with diversity training. Such as special techniques, interesting simulation games...
I appreciate any feedback.

One of the best practices is to acknowledge that one cannot be "trained" in diversity.

As for best practices - I thought there were trainings that improved diverse group functioning?
In this community of professional trainers - I would like to know if there are any simulations or games that a group composed of a diverse population could participate in which would give them an experience of being in a different power position than they are used to in their real lives - expanding their experience of other's people's experience. Kind of a raising consciousness experience.

Check out the game BARNGA by Thiagi. It is a cross-culture awareness game, not a "diversity" game per se. That is probably more helpful in the long run, though.
