I'm looking for resourcese/examples on peer evaluations for facilitators. We're looking to do more of these as a training group, and I'd like to see examples of the formats that other groups use.
Our goal would be professional development for both parties - a system that helps to evaluate the facilitator as well as provide opportunity for reflection on what the evaluator can learn and use from the peer's example. My online search is not turning up much, so looking to you all for ideas & examples. Thanks in advance! Jim |

JimG,
Can you expand a bit on your question? Can't quite determine what you are actually seeking. Maybe some background/context....thanks. |

Jim, when I use eval forms while watching facilitators, I'm too busy trying to find the place where to write the comments than watch/listen to the facilitator.
Nowadays I'm Mr. Low Tech. I just draw a vertical line down a blank piece of paper. One column I mark +, the other -. I list what I liked or didn't like about the facilitator's presentation. I then screen the 2 key things I liked or didn't like about the presentation. When I give detailed feedback, I find that people don't like it; nor can they remember more than 2 items. I go for small changes- step by step. |
