job tasks.... steps to complete a certain task in a job function.

Sorry, not much. I mean the tasks to complete a needs analysis are completely different from those needed to design the training, which are completely different from tasks needed to other job functions. It depends entirely on the job function. How about those tasks to enter an order for a product? Hope you can see why I am a bit confused.

Yes, I can see why you are confused and I apologize for not being clearer. I have done the task analysis already and now I need to document each task with step by step directions to perform a job function. For example how to access and navigate through a system or how to place comments/notes with in a system. Something that shows things like the purpose of a task, triggers to alert you to do a task, etc.
