Can anyone suggest reputable external training vendors to send employees for basic anger management skills/techniques? I'm looking into Skillpath, Rockhurst...etc. ( This need is for the South Florida area).

Who in the workplace is qualified to diagnose that an individual needs anger management training?

Be careful about this, and be clear that one's ability to manage his/her anger goes much deeper than any class could possibly go.

Rockhurst and SkillPath aren't going to have people qualified in this area (i.e. counselors, therapists, psychologists). "Anger Management" isn't something you get trained on, but rather something you obtain counseling for.

This should be handled by HR through an EAP (employee assistance program) or group insurance plan.

Thank you both for your feedback!! We are looking into our EAP programs and other programs through our insurance companies. As an additional resource we were considering external seminars that touch on the basics of managing emotions in the workplace, knowing the limitations these types of workshops have. (Anger management may be too harsh a term in this situation).
