I respectfully must disagree with the first response you received to this question. Just because you're not packaging it up for outside use does not give you free-reign to use somebody else's work without permission. This is a very complicated subject, but there are some basic principals that must be adhered to. I do recommend either buying a book, doing further online research, or attending a class on this issue. I attended an ASTD sponsored class on this a few years ago at a conference, and it was very eye-opening. Please, in the meantime, be very careful with what you use. You can use quotes of a certain length, but even that has a sub-rule to it that is very important (I apologize that I don't have my book in front of me or I would tell you what that is specifically). Also, when taking graphics from the net, please be sure that you either obtain permission from the source or that there is a statement published online with the graphic that states its for "commercial use." Print that off and file it away. You may need it someday.

LoveLearning, there really was no need to become so defensive or upset with my response. I wasn't putting "words in your mouth." I just said I RESPECTFULLY (something you weren't to me) disagreed with your response, and I proceeded to express what I knew on the topic. I'm not a lawyer either, and if the poster wants detailed information, he/she should seek the advice of one. However, I have 15 years of experience in this area and have taken a few classes on the topic.... Again, I'm not an expert, but I thought it was worth sharing my opinion.... which I THOUGHT I had the right to do. You had the right to share your opinion also, and I had the right to disagree. Enough said. There was just no need to accuse me of putting words in your mouth and everything else when I was simply trying to respond to the poster.... not to you. I NEVER said that you used the words "free reign" or anything else, did I? Calm down.
