As much as I dislike mission statements, this helps define what the training department does. It's part of a larger document where we break it down into more specifics, like our role and objectives.

I saw your request for mission statements and wondered if you received a good response and if you would be willing share the examples. We, too, are working on updating our L & D mission statement. Thanks
I'd also add that you may want to think this process through like you would a training session i.e. What is the outcome we want? What will be different? How do we get there? etc.
