Our organization is considering recording employee histories of education, professional certifications & licenses, seminars, conferences, degrees and certificates on Student Transcripts in our Learning Management System. This would include any of the above earned while employed with the organization, as well as those completed prior to employment that are relevant to the current career path. The purpose if this project, in part, is for talent management and succession planning.

I am looking for information regarding the approach other organizations have taken for this work, i.e., collection, verification, time parameters. Your comments are appreciated.
