We are looking to upgrade or change to a new online registration system for our training and event offerings. I would like to know what others use and recommend or not recommend.
Thanks in advance! |

Our organization has just decided to move from a home-grown dbToolbox web-based system to a full LMS distributed by Learn.com. I've only played in a sandbox environment during the assessment stage, but what I saw was very impressive. The system goes beyond just registrations into full access to online learning modules, and even into options allowing learning materials to be purchased online (without launching another web-based billing application). Although it may be much more than you're looking for, it may be worth a glance.
In the past, I've also used ColdFusion or Dreamweaver with an MS Access database to get the online registration into a more manageable format. Hope this helps! |

Take a look at our LMS, TrainingForce.com. It is quick and easy to implement and you can buy what you need today. Let me know if you have any questions or visit our website.

Curious-
I am curious what challenges/issues you are trying to improve with a new system. Plenty of fine systems to choose from, but I do find some are better fits with organizations than others. I do recommend first defining this, then getting users or vendors to describe how the system addresses the issue (and show you if possible). Time permitting, I do recommend trying with your own team doing it. You'll quickly discover the difference between "capable of doing X" and "good fit with your business". I've used many systems (including freeware). If you want to reach out to discuss specifics, please feel free. David Glow dglow@tampabay.rr.com |
