I'm working with a group of employees who, unfortunately, have several individuals who tend to dominate the team. These people are not "leaders" in a sense that they don't have the title, nor do they have skills to lead the team effectively. In other words, they tell everyone what to do and really have no right to. I've been asked to do an activity with them to help in this situation. Any suggestions? Maybe something on team member roles?
Thanks, Tara |

Are you the team lead/supervisor/mgr of this group? Who is? What specific, individual feedback has been given to the "several individuals" who boss everyone else around?

Hi Tara,
I'm inclined to agree (unusually) with FF. If you are not responsible for the team then I get a sense of 'dump it on the trainer' syndrome here. It's not really your responsibility to manage these issues and they should be addressed outside a classroom (or any training experience). If they are responsible to you, then I think it could be managed in a better way, again outside of the training environment. ---------------------------------- For training resources, training course materials, trainers notes, training courses, training games and many other free training tools, visit: http://www.trainerbubble.com . Maybe some 360 feedback work?
