Has anyone used the Telephone Doctor 16 DVD library as CS training? We are considering it for our customer service training with the insurance company I am with, and I would be happy to receive feedback. If you have a recommendation to share, that would also be helpful. Thank you.
Have seen it used as PART of a training plan -- keeping in mind that presentation is but a small part of the learning cycle. Some learners enjoyed it when they were able to view at their own schedule at their own pace. Others didn't respond well to canned content that doesn't allow for interaction and questions.
Thank you, Fanatic. I did fail to be clear. The videos would be interspersed with discussion and presentation done by one of our trainers. So I'm hoping to hear what you and others thought of the quality of the Telephone Doctor material. Thank you for your feedback.
Hi Molten -- while their materials are fine, I am simply not an advocate of subjecting people to watching videos in a classroom setting, unless the video is the ONLY way to make the point or the video adds a special element you couldn't otherwise get (for example, showing a clip from a movie to bring home a point).
So their videos in and of themselves are okay...but I continue to have issues with the way I see this stuff used.
