Does anyone have any research / information that could be used for benchmarking on the benefits of having a department of salaried/exempt trainers vs. a department of hourly/non-exempt trainers? Does anyone have any experience of having moved their department from salaried to hourly and what the resulting benefits were? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Please check with your HR department. Labor laws generally determine who is exempt and who is not.
