Does anyone know of any company that has significantly reduced their training development time? I am interested in benchmarking best practices.

Thiagi has helped companies do this. Check his site at thiagi.com.

FWIW I recently spoke to a company that has redone its development process in order to increase the quality of the events. The new proces is longer than the old one.

This is what I do! Please feel free to contact. I've seen far too many businesses overengineer as well as maintain far too large a catalog of courses to be focused and effective for their organization.
