I am looking for a sample Code of Conduct to provide our Instructors who conduct training for our customers. Something that speaks to professionalism, valuing students, attire, etc. If anyone has any samples or places to reference, I would appreciate the help.
I agree with LL. At some organizations instructors are expected to sell "back of the room" materials. That is prohibited at others. It is important that you decide what is important for your organization.
I just want to handle things like professionalism, and how a breach of conduct will be treated. Our job descriptions and contracts are clear on duties and we have a good overview of compnay culture and expectations. I was looking for standard language, like all students will be treated with respect, no obscene language, etc AND what to do if this is breached. Sorry, I should have been more clear. Thank you both for your questions which helped me clarify what I was really looking for!
I'm sorry, Jen, but I'm still confused. You seem to already know what the conduct ought to be, and I'm sure the big kahunas have specific expectations, so that is what you should gather and capture and get sign-off on from those same corporate mucky-mucks and then document and distribute.
If you wanted some generic format and general statements, just google it.
