I work for a 500+ person manufacturing company. I am a single person training department and would like to ask for additional funds for training and development. However, I have NO IDEA what other companies of similar size and/or industry spend on training annually. What does your company spend on training?

Also - how many people work in the Training Department or HR Department for Training per employee? Is there a rule of thumb?
