I am a new training manager at a company that did not have dedicated training resources previously. I would like to brand all of our new materials and elearning so the learners know these things are new and from our dept.
Any thoughts on calling it "training" vs "learning"?

Since this is an internal support department, I would stick with the company's brand, the company's logo.

Hi Trainingqn:

I suggest keeping the branding effort in balance. What I mean is don’t let the goal of branding get in the way of good instruction. For example: Some training functions have mandated putting the company LOGO on every projected visual (read PowerPoint). Great advertising but poor instructional design. Research finding indicate people learn better when extraneous material is excluded rather than included. (the Coherence Principle).

Refer you to the work of Richard E. Mayer. (2003 )Multi-Media Learning.
