Hello all,

I've been doing contract training for quite a while and am now seeking a full-time position in the Raleigh, NC area. I am looking at the following websites for leads: ASTD, SHRM, Monster, Career Builder, Hotjobs. Does anyone know of other websites that may post job specifically for Trainer positions, as well as other avenues to uncover training positions?

I would suggest contacting ASTD chapters in the Raleigh, NC area; they are a good resource for local training openings and/or provide excellent opportunities for networking. Good luck!

Some idea of your area(s) of experience/expertise would really help. Technical - Windows, Technical - telecomm, Management, "workplace communications", Other HR, etc.

My area of experience: HR subjects,
Customer Service training, Communications, Sexual Harassment,Fundamental of Management to name a few. I have done technical training for Lawson Performance Management and Greentree recruiting system....

My advice would be to find the type of company/organization you would be interested in working and then narrow this down to a Top 5 List. From there, start looking to see what they have available. If there aren't any current positions open, you might be able to "sell" them on creating a position that uses your unique talents to add to their bottom line. Good luck with your search!
