I think you need to explore in more detail why they do not see the value of the guides rather than draw up a pro's and con's list. They must have already established the cons. If it is purely a case of saving paper then you have to assess the value of the document i.e. Is it being used? If it is, then you have your answer.

If you want a reference point for staff at their desks, then can you provide a laminated version that is accessible to all?
