If anyone can PLEASE help me out. I am an MBA student in the final stages of my project and am in need of research regarding effective training from external consultants.

I am putting together a consulting firm for customer service training in the restaurant industry, and feel that external training has a better success rate than internal. My adviser wants to see scientific data relating to such information.

The data does not need to be restaurant specific, my HR prof mentioned he thought he was reading about the success of external or outsourced training in the ASTD State of the Industry Report, however I can not afford to buy that report and am not finding it anywhere online!

Any help is greatly appreciated, I do need this info right away, thank you in advance!!
