I have a Flash-based training course that needs to be translated into another language. 240 of the reference files are in PDF format, and some of those are only partially-writeable. There are no source files to use. So I got the brilliant idea to convert them all to DOC files.
Problem is that the software I tried to use, "PDF to Word", advertises that it converts in batch, but it didn't for me. It also caused a major DLL conflict with Word, and shut me down for a few hours. Does anyone have any other software recommendations for converting 240 files at one time? Thank you tremendously in advance! |

Check out PDF Converter Professional from Nuance. I'm not sure about batch conversion, but it seems to do a good job.
VeryPDF has a tool that is inexpensive and claims to do it in batch mode. I have no experience with them. --john |

If you have a full version of Adobe Acrobat you can save your PDF in either the Rich Text format or as a Word Document (latest version). It just has to be Acrobat Standard or Professional version, the free Reader won't do that.
