I work for BP in the Sales and Marketing Capabilities Team. We have a suite of learning programs for sales and marketing. We support this learning by a website. Currently we use this website for access to learning offer; to register for learning offer; links to other learning resources; links to business-specific Career Portals; and to build the sales and markeing community through podcasts, success stories, case studies and alumni directory. We feel we could make this site stronger and are interested in how other companies use websites to support and embed their learning programs.
Therefore, my questions is how does your company use a website to support and embed learning programs? In addition, how is the website being resources? Thanks. JMW |

Hi JMW
Not only do we use a website, but we provide dedicated (and locked) forums and wikis. personally I find that learners respond better when they contribute and participate rather then just have access to static content. Recently we have been experimenting with witter as a pre and post learning support tool with great effect. Here are a number of articles we have written on the subject: Twitter learning and training articles Which I hope you will find of value.
