Hello!,
We developed an elearning course in flash and gave it to one elearning consultant to make it SCORM package. He is using 'lesson_location' vriable to store quiz answers. my question is that if it is a right way to do it.
My second question is that how to handle/store multiple choice questions in SCORM.
Looking for your reply!

I couldn't say for sure without knowing some more info, but that doesn't sound right. lesson_location is for bookmarking.

Individual questions and answers can be stored with the "interaction" set of scorm parameters. If you just want to send the final score, what I do is, on the last Flash frame, add up the correct answers divided by the total score and send that via the cmi.core.score.raw parameter. Some LMS's use a separate score and possible score.

By the way, the ADL has a SCORM test suite that can be used to verify if your consultant's work is going to pass with most LMS's.

Yes, this works for SCORM 1.2, but with Flash you can create interfaces to SCORM 2004 as well. Flash actually has some basic quiz templates that you can use to connect, but they are basic and it doesn't sound like that's what you are using. With a custom Flash course, I hand-code the SCORM interface both inside of Flash and externally with javascript. If you don't have a hand coder, you could embed the Flash file in Lectora, but you'd still have to know how to pass variables from Flash to Lectora.

Can we be of service to your organization?
