I'm looking for companies that have delivered their ILT over a web-conference applicaton. Looking for good and bad experiences.

We have been conducting ILTs via web-conferencing since the middle of 2006. Each year since then, utilization has doubled.
It was an adjustment for the facilitators, as the virtual environment is different from the face to face environment. In order to insure quality standars, we don't allow facilitators access to the web-conferencing application until they attend a 2 - 3 day course that we developed. This course teaches both use of the web-conferencing tools as well as best practices for delivering training in a virtual environment. |

Learning Tree International (for whom I do some work) has a program called AnyWare where they deliver courses as you describe. They are a major worldwide provider of training. I have not taken or delivered such a course for them, but I have watched the instructor while presenting: it seemed to work quite well.

We have a series of ILT courses that we deliver via in person sessions in our call centers and via the virtual classroom for our remote folks.
We use the same activities in both, we have modified some for the virtual classroom. It takes creativity, but it has been well received. Also, the instructional design staff and trainers attended courses offered by Insync Training. |
