Hello!
Does anyone have instructional design (for e-learning) templates they'd be willing to share? Looking for ideas on a storyboard format and some kind of needed images/assets log. Thanks! Michelle |

We have a Word template that we have used in the past when sending storyboards to outside vendors for programming. Maybe this will help you. Send me your email address and I'll send you a copy.

I don't know if they have a form for an assets log, but William & Katherine Horton have a package of Word templates for elearning here:
http://www.horton.com/html/elformsword.aspx For tracking media assets, one developer I worked with used a Word table. Each row represented a media asset. The columns recorded: - the course module and section - a brief description of the asset (such as, "Luis and Pat discuss their strategy") - the type of asset (photos with audio, rollover, linear animation, etc.) - a link to the script (each script was a separate file) - status indicators: produced, reviewed internally, approved by the client If you did this on a wiki, the table could be dynamic, always kept up to date. You might also be able to use an inexpensive issues tracking program to track each asset and mark it complete. Cathy |
