Hi KHannan,

This may be digressing a little from the topic, but I was really interested in knowing why you want to 'educate' your customers about how to use a product. What you may probably need is a usability test and the results will help you understand how your software can be made usable. The user should not have to learn how to use a product. It should be usable. Right?

Cheers,
Archana

While customers receive training when the product is installed, there is a high turnover rate in the industry. The companies typically don't want to pay for additional training every time they get a new manager, which can be twice a year.

There are many components to the software- it manages every aspect of the business from inventory management, point-of-sale, retail management, food and beverage management, reservations, special events, and billing. While the software is generally easy to use, we find that many customers only scratch the surface regarding the true power of the application. This certification is designed to help get new managers up to speed quickly AND help them to see the value of the advanced reporting and marketing features that are available to them.

Does that make sense?

Thanks for the feedback!

We do Certications for our field training and tech staff and use a blended learning approach (combination field experience, elearning and self study).

I haven't seen your objectives, but there needs to be an end goal - what value is the certification to the customer? Is is a nice to have or allows them to do something?

You probably don't need an LMS (although you don't mention how large the group is).

I would be happy to chat with you offline.
