Good afternoon all,
While my company has had great success with classroom training for new people in our sales-type positions (don't want to be too specific), the powers that be are considering eliminating our classroom training due to expense. It is a three day workshop that builds on an online course participants complete prior to attendance and incorporates numerous role-play activities. There are actual industry benchmarks we can measure our trainees' performance against - that's how we know we have a successful training program. I have been asked to research virtual classroom technology that incorporates the use of webcams (both for the instructor and the participants). Is anyone using something similar? We currently use GoTo Meeting and GoTo Webinar for various things. However, I am not aware of a video component. Thanks much! |

Adobe Connect Pro has a video component, and you can run Captivate and Adobe Presenter in it as well.
We don't use the video component, but have successfully used Captivate and Adobe Presenter. |

I have used both WebEx and Adobe Connect for Remote Instructor-Led (RIL) training. Both work well, and have comparable features, with WebEx having a slight lead in capabilities.

Do you know if Adobe suite enables Social Media functionality such as discussion groups and blogs? Thanks

What are the main reasons that you believe web ex wins out over adobe? |
