Curt:

The easy answer is, Yes. Big Grin

Without any specifics, any solution might do. The answer depends on many factors... A few things to consider are:
- Will customers access the site?
- If yes, will payment be taken via the web? Or will it be handled by office personnel?
- If it is internal use only..
-- Will employees access it via an extranet?
-- Will employees need access via the Internet?
- Are there business partners that need to access the site?
- What rich media is used and planned to be used?
- What is the current course development tools?
- Do you have a competent IT team?

This is just a few of the many questions that you want answered before looking at a solution be it hosted or internal.

There are many solutions that range from free to fee that are internal or SaaS. However, before you begin looking for a solution you will want to ensure you know what the needs are going to be.

If you want to do some comparisons you can go to http://edutools.info and compare about 40 of the top course management systems. This is an educational lens that you will be looking through, not a corporate--but it is an excellent site none the less.

Dave
