We have some clients who want a print-out of our course so that they can document what the user took. We sometimes do attach pdf files of our content, but in this case, that would be difficult and we also don't want the content to be copied and disseminated. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
If they want to track what users have taken, they need an LMS - paper-based, online, whatever - to track that "Joe" took "Course A" on "such and such date"... but that's their issue, not a print content issue. Don't give up the ship when what they need is a cruise director.
Is your question about tracking training completions, or about requests for documentation of online content? If about documentation of content, I will share with you my experience, as I work in a heavily regulated industry. We MUST provide printouts or files of our training content to our federal regulators. I will not do business with a vendor who will not provide this info in order for us to comply with requests from examiners.
In all probability your clients want to conduct your course for the rest of their staff using in-house trainers (some of who you ahve already trained). Don't give up your material that easily..
