It is now easier than ever to use Microsoft PowerPoint ® to create SCORM conformant eLearning. Download the free template at http://www.kmsi.us/ilt_convert.htm

I look forward to your comments.

Jack,

This post is pushing the limits of the policy of this forum, which disapproves of overt commercial messaging. I ask you, and others who are tempted by the focus of this group, to refrain from treating it as a marketplace for products or services.

Thanks for your understanding.

Dear Godfrey:
The template is free and does not require any purchase to be valuable to the participants that download it. My intent was to provide a free and useful tool to your members.

We have previously posted our Learning Technology Evaluation Tools at http://www.kmsi.us/free_eval.htm and our free elearning ROI calcuator at http://www.kmsi.us/e-learning_info.htm without receiving any complaints.

We do not want to offend anyone, so please let me know if this still concerns you and we will refrain from posting new tools that we develop to this discussion forum.

Sincerely,
Jack

I'm sorry but very rarely does PowerPoint = eLearning.

Dear Jack,

It was not a complaint, just a gentle reminder. The fact that the tool is free is not the point. It's a promotional device, used to attract traffic or to provide an inbound link.

Please try to refrain from posting such items in future, unless they are relevant to a discussion under way.

It is probably worth pointing out to members (and this is not directed specifically at you, Jack) that any links posted on the forum are automatically "no-follow links" -- i.e. people can click on them, but search engine spiders cannot follow them. This is to discourage "comment spam" which seeks to exploit the topical authority of a community to boost the rankings of a site linked to from that community.

Best,

Godfrey Parkin
