I remember this one class where students worked in groups to review the day's main topics and create job aids. After over 2 hours, someone spoke up and said, "hey - is it okay if we take a quick bathroom break?"

My point -- nobody even noticed the time when everyone was actively involved in the learning.

I have yet to see an e-learning module that can keep someone actively engaged for very long at all.
