Dear Instructional Design Professional,
My name is Dianna Smith and I am a learner at Capella University. I invite you to participate in my study. The purpose of this research is to determine instructional designers’ use of theory when conducting instructional design. Results from this research may be used to inform instructional design (ID) theory and research, improve the training of future instructional designers, and enhance access to information for ID professionals. The survey consists of 20 questions and will take 10-15 minutes to complete. No personal or professional risk exists for you if you decide to participate in the study. Participation is voluntary and you may refuse to participate. You can be sure that all information provided will be kept confidential and no references to your identity will appear in the results. The criteria for being a part of the study will be limited to those who are currently working as an instructional designer, have graduated from a master’s degree program in instructional design or related to instructional design, and have at least five years of experience as an instructional designer. So please volunteer to complete the survey ONLY IF you meet those requirements. If you choose to complete the survey you may withdraw at any time. Only the researcher will have access to the data provided on the survey. If you have any questions regarding this study, you may contact Dianna Smith at (571) 228-9813 or Dr. Sonja Irlbeck 888-227-3552 ext 6124. To indicate you would like to participate in the survey, please click the link to begin. Thank you for your time. This message has been edited. Last edited by: dsmith347, |
