There are thousands of e-learning tools out there, share your experiences about using different e-learning tools.
I use Captivate 3 and Flash CS3. Captivate is used for creating the main course content, with it I had to deal with issues like image compression and large file size. Flash CS3 is cool and I have created many animations and simulations that aid learning. Right now I am working on my research paper which compares various e-learning development toolds. Wow your research should be interesting.. Currently just in North America there are 847 LMS's, 149 LCMS's, a few hundred eLearning authoring tools, a hundred or so Webinar tools. Not sure how I could help without writing an entire reseach paper.. grin.. steve

We use a variety of tools. We match the tool to the project and choose what makes sense for that particular design project.
We do not use Flash. We use Articulate (Presenter, Engage, and Quizmaker), Captivate, Audacity, Adobe Presenter, and Adobe Connect Pro, plus we have Framemaker and Robohelp for technical documentation. We also are looking at tools like Poser and iClone to incorporate 3-D animation into simulations/elearning but that's still in the investigation stage. We've been very happy with these tools, a few issues here and there. That's par for the course with any technology. |

I tried Articulate presenter onece, it is really a powerful tool, but it is beyond my budget. I am now using Wondershare PPT2Flash, it is also a good eLearnng authoring tools that help no programming skill users convert PowerPoint to Flash for high-impact Web presentations and SCORM compliant eLearning Courses with rich media, quizzes and simulations.
