Has anyone had any experience using the SmartBuilder authoring tool? I am considering purchasing it but haven't been able to find any user reviews. I currently use Articulate and Captivate, but I'm looking for more flexiblilty in developing interactions.

My firm is about to get SmartBuilder. Several people at my firm tested it, using trial accounts, and we LOVE it. The cost may be prohibitive. But after testing many authoring tools, SmartBuilder really stands out!

It exceeded our expectations in functionality, vendor product knowledge, and the company's vision. If you have a team of developers, the collaboration, task management, and versioning functions are great, too. Next to coding directly in Flash, SmartBuilder is the most flexible tool for developing rich interactivity.

I only wish more people used it so we could build a larger user community.

Zoe - how much is the SmartBuilder program? Ballpark?

Not to disparage Zoe, but does she work for have any financial gain from recommending SmartBulider.

Why I ask is that she registered on April 14th, the day she answered Nola's query. This is the only post from Zoe in the forums.

I have never heard of this product, so I cannot comment on its value feature set.
