Very tough question. I was in your shoes about a year ago and after many many trials we have decided on Moodle and are very happy with it. I also come from a medium sized company with about 1500 employees. It is really important to test out your content on any LMS before plopping down any cash. Make sure your authoring tool works well with the LMS and that support is easily accessible. Can't stress the importance of the trial version. Nice thing about Moodle is that it is free so mistakes are just learning experiences and not budget busters.
What kind of authoring tool are you using?

Guess, you have missunderstood.

You are right that SP platform is popular in companies as a corporate platform, but many edu structures using it also for it high flexibility. And SharePointLMS is the LMS which competes with BlackBoard and Moodle, etc. and in some parts even better than other LMSs. Wink
Bihind it's features list, many organizations also choosing SharePointLMS because it can integrate with SharePoint and can use the same user database.
