Hello,
I work for a large, consumer electronics company. We currently have online training we write ourselves (based on Word docs) but it isn't very engaging. I am interested in finding a vendor to produce interactive, fun and "cool" training to appeal to our younger, mostly male audience. We do need a fairly quick turn around time for training content production due to aggressive product lifecycles. Basically, we went content that people enjoy doing and seek out. I would appreciate your suggestions! Thanks, Jennifer |

Hi Jennifer:
Solid State Learning creates just the kind of fun, interactive courses that you are seeking. We use primarily Flash plus some advanced technologies like 3D animation, gaming, and video to create immersive learning experiences. With a fun storyline and interactions built in whenever possible, we create edutainment. I'll contact you (via PM) regarding the turnaround to gauge feasibility. We do have many resources to reduce the time of development. I would be glad to show you a sample of a 3D interactive game that we created for pharmaceutical salespeople to review heart anatomy. Thanks, Sheldon Murphy Solid State Learning www.sslearn.com |

Hi Jennifer -
I'd also like introduce you to our company, w/ - we do "elearning NOT as usual", and what you're looking for is precisely what we do. In fact, last year we built an immersive learning project for a major consumer electronics retailer that included 3D environments, avatars, lots of media, and a fun, engaging experience. I'm PM you a link to this particular project and you explore it for yourself. Best of luck! |

Hi.
You may want to check the eLDINFO - www.eldinfo.com (eLearning portal). There is a directory of elearning solutions providers in the 'Design/Author' and in the 'LMS/LCMS' sections, with the info and links to their web sites. |

There's a company in Houston, TX, that does really cool elearning-- and not just cool for the sake of cool, but cool plus actual learning content. www.obsidian-edge.com
I have no idea of their prices, but I've seen their end product. I have not engaged them as consultants. Go to samples on the top left of their page and you can see some of their work. |
