Hi! We are looking to do a feasibility study in 2008 to bring our LMS in-house in 2009. We are looking for a vendor to manage the RFP process for us and the feasibility study.

Does anyone know of any vendors who do this kind of work for LMS? We are in the service industry. For budgeting purposes, any ball-park figures on what this kind of service would cost?

I've been through 4 major LMS implementations between large and mid-size organizations, and a few Universities. I know LMS consultants that do this type of work, but to save some money, I have some suggestions about how far you might bring it before engaging such a service.

Of course you could also use one of the so "research firms" but there are definitel issues with these. But If I write them publically I get hate mail from them. By the way, just found out they Cec have begun a survey and report on LMS's that is NOT paid for by the vendors.. it is data directly from your peers and includes raw data.. I can give you more details if desired.. might help you out a lot.. steve
