I'm an eLearning Instructional Designer doing some research on designing for synchronous webinars. I'm looking for info on the ARC Model - books, CD whatever. I can't find anyting on the ASTD Web site or on eLearning Guild's site.
Thanks!!

ARC Model

Hi Millissa:

I’m guessing your referring to the “ARCS” model developed by John M. Keller.

I suggest his article Development and Use of the ARCS Model of Instructional Design found in the Journal of Instructional Development, 1987, VOL. 10, NO 3. Not only is there a good explanation of the model; there are table of strategies for each step in the model.

Good luck

Cj
