I have just started at a new job and will be doing much of the storyboarding for eLearning courses. Currently they are using a word document with a simple table as a “template” This isn’t very easy to navigate as one is in the creative zone. You have to stop and mouse to the next appropriate cell to continue. Does anyone have, or know how to create a template in any of the word or other program that would make the writing process easier. My dream would something that looked like a table but would hold its shape while tabbing through and that would allow the creation of duplicate pages easily.

While I have seen people do that, I much prefer PowerPoint. I first snap the background of the real course and make it the PPT background. Then I type in the course in PPT slides and the SMEs have a real idea of what the course will look like.
