I'm looking into new systems and would love to get feedback on good systems. I've used Interwise, WebEx, and others in the past but am looking for recommendations of systems to research.

We are just beginning a similar project and I was able to tap into the Forrester (http://www.forrester.com/) group for some good beginning information. When looking at vendors, they evaluated some products based on if you were going to install the product or if you were looking for a hosted solution. The vendors they considered were: Adobe, Elluminate, iLinc Communications, Microsoft, Raindance, WebEx, Cisco MeetingPlace, Citrix GoToMeeting, Convoq MeetASAP, Genesys Meeting Center, IBM Lotus Sametime, Interwise (now owned by AT&T)Connect, Oracle Collaboration, VIACK, and Centra (now owned by Saba). Not all made it through the complete evaluation for a variety of reasons. If you like, I can send you some of the findings in that evaluation?

We've done extensive research on these platforms, and the most sophistocated and easy to use for training are Webex, Interwise, iLinc, and Microsoft. The others are great collaboration systems, but may not have the tools you want for training - such as certification tracking, replays, and detailed user tracking. We are also evaluating the different web conferencing/training products. This is where I'm at:

WebEx - eLearning Magazine's awarded WebEx Training Center as "Best Virtual Classroom" and WebEx Meeting Center was a finalist for "Best Web Seminar". Our parent companies' and therefore our current standard is WebEx, but we're not convinced it is our best option.

Microsoft LiveMeeting - The head of our IT department has called us a "Microsoft Shop" so Microsoft Live Meeting looks attractive.

Adobe Connect - (formerly Macromedia Breeze) possibly looks easy to use, secure, and affordable. Here is a link to another thread that discusses it: LINK TO ADOBE CONNECT THREAD

iLinc - eLearning Mag voted iLinc MeetingLinc as "Best Web Seminar" and LearnLinc was a finalist for "Best Virtual Classroom". There website looks nice.

TalkPoint Communications - Viewed a recorded webcast created with TalkPoint and it was about the most user friendly interface I could hope for.

Other - Other eLearning Mag finalist were Saba CetraSuite/Live & Citrix GoToMeeting
